Verizon FiOS Digital TV Expansions

Verizon has been cleared in many areas to start implementing FiOS, and they have been expanding very quickly lately. Over this week Verizon implemented its fiber-based TV services to cities across New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
Expansion in New York included Amherst, Hamburg, and Lawrence. Expansion in New Jersey included Bayonne, Perth Amboy, Plainfield, Loch Arbour , and Lakewood. And expansion in Massachusetts included Ashland and Plymouth.

UPDATE (June 24, 2008):
Verizon has made it official that they will be adding their FiOS TV service to Poquoson, VA. A total of 347 households in Poquoson will be able to get FiOS TV this summer. Verizon also says they will be able to make FiOS to the entire city within three years.

UPDATE (June 26, 2008):
Verizon has made it official that they will be adding their FiOS TV service to Stow, Massachusetts. On June 24th the Board of Selectman granted Verizon FiOS the ability to make their service avaliable to the town of Stow.

Verizon has announced that they will be setting up FiOS in three new location. They will be adding the service to two more places in New York, Rockville Centre and Northport on Long Island. As well as Stoughton, Massachusetts.

UPDATE (July 19, 2008):
Verizon has announced that they will be setting up more FiOS in four new states. Lynnwood, Washington will be the first city in Washington to get FiOS TV service. Verizon will also be setting up FiOS in Hampton, Virginia, Sutton, Mass., and eight more cities in New Jersy.

Verizon has announced that they will be setting up FiOS TV in three new locations. They will be adding the service to Northborough, Massachusetts, and Portsmouth, Virginia, as well as Everett, Washington.

Verizon has announced that they will be setting up FiOS TV in four more states. Residents of Marysville and Kenmore, Washington will soon be getting FiOS, as well as Tampa, Florida, as well as Rockville, Maryland, and finally the residents of the Long Island village of Amityville and the Putnam County town of Kent will soon be getting FiOS TV.

Verizon has announced that they will be setting up FiOS TV TV in several more new locations. They will be adding the service to more cities in Los Angeles and Orange counties. The villages of Cove Neck in Nassau County, and Brightwaters in Suffolk County both recently granted video franchises to Verizon. FiOS TV service is also being expanded in six new New Jersey cities; Hudson, Massachusetts; Bel Air, Maryland; and Chesapeake / Portsmouth / Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Verizon has lots of updates for us this week. Fios will now be available in parts of Baldwin Park, Hemet, La Puente, San Bernardino and Upland. As well as in additional areas of Glendora, La Verne, Lakewood, Long Beach, Los Angeles, Montclair, Pomona, Thousand Oaks, Yucaipa and unincorporated Los Angeles County. On the east coast in Blasdell, Kenmore and Lackawanna New York. FiOS will also become available in Chester, Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C..
