LG has just announced its new LCD TV the LG80, which is designed to add a home theater option to your LG TV choices. The LG80 is the continuation of their Scarlet series of TVs and has carefully tuned speakers that automatically slide out of the side of the set when it is turned on. The LG80 has a total of four speakers making for a 3.1 surround sound system with 50-watts of output. A nice step up from the average 20-watt output on most TVs. Along with the great sound system you will find a Full HD 1080p resolution, 30,000:1 contrast ratio, three AV modes, and a USB 2.0 port. There is no word as of yet on the size, price, or release date in the States so stay tuned.
