Panasonic Adds Amazon VOD To Blu-ray Players

Panasonic has just announced that there will be a firmware update for all VIERA Cast enabled blu-ray players adding access to Amazon Video On Demand content. In addition to Amazon Video On Demand, VIERA CAST will continue to provide access to YouTube™, Picasa Web Albums™, Bloomberg News and weather information.

Sony BRAVIA HDTVs Are Getting Netflix

Sony and Netflix have just come to a deal which will bring instant Netflix streaming to Sony BRAVIA Internet Video-capable HDTVs this fall along with older BRAVIA models that are compatible with Sony’s BRAVIA Internet video link module.

LG has just launched their first HDTV’s that come equipped with Netflix capabilities. The two new models are the 47-inch 47LH50 LCD HDTV and the 50-inch 50PS80. The new TV’s are shipping today and are going for $1,999.

VUDU Cuts Prices In Half
