Mvix USA is realeasing a new media streamer in the US on July 6th called the Mvix Ultio. It suppourts a wide reange of codecs including DivX® (3/4/5/6), Xvid, AVC-HD, MPEG 1/2/4, WMV-9, ASF(WMV9), MKV, DVD(IFO, VOB), ISO, MP3, WMA, AAC, OGG, FLAC, and AC3. Along with being able to add a hard drive to the device you can stream Samba / UPnP / BitTorrent, Netflix, YouTube and other streaming sources.

LG has just launched their first HDTV’s that come equipped with Netflix capabilities. The two new models are the 47-inch 47LH50 LCD HDTV and the 50-inch 50PS80. The new TV’s are shipping today and are going for $1,999.

Have you bee looking for a way to get your media on your PC to your TV? Well LaCie will soon be releasing this new media player that you can connect right to your TV letting you access all of your favorite videos, music, and pictures on your TV. There is no hard drive included so you can either add a 3.5-inch SATA HDD or plug in an external USB drive. Its not yet available for purchase and will sell for $99, including an HDMI cable.

YouTube has just launched its TV optimized version of the site called YouTube XL. This new version of the site will bring the webs most popular video sharing content right to your TV. It has been redesigned into a very clean and easy to navigate portal. All of the advertising, comments, and suggestion features that clutter the site are stripped out. Unfortunately so are the HD and HQ features as well, but hopefully this will soon change.

Panasonic’s very first wireless HD TV featureing 1080p plasmas and assorted accessories went on sale this week in Japan. Unfortunatley, we won’t see these in the US until June.
