Samsung’s 3D HDTVs Out in Febuary

Samsung has announced they will be releasing their new 3D C7000 series HDTVs on February 26. The new TV’s will be made in 40″, 46″, and 55″ inch sizes, and will come with access to Samsung Apps & Internet@TV, Skype, AllShare DLNA media streaming. Keep an eye out for more on these.

DirecTV DVR Scheduler App Released

DirecTV has just released their mobile DVR scheduler app for the android and WebOS phones. Seems pretty straight forward gives you the ability to search for and schedule tv recordings while your out. Just head to you app catalog and download.

DirecTV’s New HR24 DVR

DirecTV’s newest DVR the HR24 is already in production and will be coming out very soon. This new DVR will have between three and eight tuners, and you can connect up to eight H24 clients up via coax. There are no details as of right now on the price, but it will make a nice upgrade.

Not to many details to give on this yet but Samsung is saying they are currently mass producing 40″, 46″, and 55″ LCD models with 3D 240Hz motion technology.

Rogers Cable Launches On Demand Online

Rogers Cable a Canadian cable company has launched their own beta online video on demand site. This site will be allow its customers to stream video from 19 different channels.

Roku Channel Store Adds New Content Portals

If you are a Roku owner you currently have access to Netflix, Amazon Video On Demand, and MLB.tv, but you will soon be able to add ten more items to this list.  Roku will soon be releasing a free update that will add ten new content channels. Pandora, Facebook Photos, Revision3, Mediafly, TWiT, blip.tv, Flickr, FrameChannel, Motionbox and MobileTribe. We are still waiting for them to add the bigger cannels like Hulu and YouTube, but this is still a nice update.
